I’m committed to making a difference in our community, but I can’t do it without Your Support. Let’s connect in a way that works for you—by phone, text, email, video chat, or in-person. Schedule a time, and we’ll discuss what matters most to you.
I’m Shannon, born and raised in Sitansisk, and throughout my life, I’ve had the opportunity to work in various roles within our community. Starting as a teen at SMEC, I’ve worked in many of our local businesses, gaining valuable insight into both the challenges we face and the opportunities ahead. Now, after two terms as a councillor and as a candidate for Chief, I’m ready to use this experience to serve you and our community in a new capacity.
With the support of our Education Department, I earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with concentrations in Human Resource Management and First Nations Business from the University of New Brunswick. I’m committed to using this education to bring meaningful, positive change to Sitansisk, ensuring that it benefits all members of our community.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked across sectors such as banking, startups, technology, non-profit management, and Indigenous economic development. These experiences have given me a broad perspective, and I’m dedicated to applying this knowledge to build a stronger future for Sitansisk.
With the support of my husband, Tanner Paul, along with our family and friends, I’m excited to bring my experience, dedication, and vision to our community’s leadership. Together, we can honor our past while creating a future where the next seven generations will thrive.
